    • By approving your final invoice and submitting payment for items you’ve ordered, you are acknowledging that you have accepted the purchase of those items within the terms and conditions as follows.

      When you place your order online you will receive an order confirmation email and confirmation number within 24 hours.  It is to confirm that your order has gone through.  If you do not receive your order confirmation after 24 hours, please contact us through the "Contact Us" form. We will contact you within 24 hours Monday-Saturday to let you know if the item is available and to quote you a shipping price if necessary. 

      Every effort is made to provide high quality images and measurement to assist you in choosing your furniture.  However, images at times vary in color depending on a number of factors, including your monitor color settings, the photo’s color settings, and your room lighting. If you need precise dimensions or colors, contact Grigsby Furniture Direct. We do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error free.

      Grigsby Furniture Direct is not responsible for any possible changes in inventory at vendor warehouses.  We cannot guarantee that a given item is in stock or that the arrival dates of furniture given to us by vendor are guaranteed to a timeline.  We will however work closely with our purchase department to make sure your order is shipped as soon as possible if you choose to keep your items on back-order. 

      In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.

    Grigsby Furniture Direct and its subsidiaries reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel orders in its discretion, including, without limitation, if Grigsby Furniture Direct believes that customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interests of Grigsby Furniture Direct and its subsidiaries.


    Shipping & Delivery

    • Depending on the item(s) that you purchased on Grigsby Furniture Direct and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods will be provided to you.  Each shipping method has its own restrictions and additional charges that might be applied to the order. 

      Within 24 hours of delivery, should your order arrive damaged, please email us with a description and/or a clear photographic image of the damaged items(s) and we will at our sole discretion, either repair, replace or reimburse you for reasonable local repairs of said items. MOST IMPORTANT:  Furniture cannot be returned for any reason without its original factory packaging.

      If you do not notify us within the 24 hour time period, you are agreeing to accept the delivered item(s) “as is” and also agree that New Edition Furniture and any of it’s affiliates, associates, employee and agents assume no liability whatsoever regarding the type, construction and condition of products you have purchased and taken possession of.

      Within 24 hours of delivery, if the delivered items(s) are undamaged, but for whatever reason you do not want to keep the items(s), we will gladly exchange or refund your purchase, however, you agree that any such refunds or exchanges will be subject to a restocking fee equal to 35% of the purchase price and a return delivery charge equal to the initial delivery service fee.
       
      Our products have been packaged to avoid damage in shipping.  Be sure to inspect your package and its contents prior to signing for the delivery.  If a package arrives that appears to be damaged or if parts appear to be missing, please write, “DAMAGED” on the freight delivery bill of lading that you sign for acceptance of your items. Call us immediately.   We will then file a claim and upon completion of the claim, send you a replacement.  We will do our best to assist you and expedite your replacement product but we must be notified promptly.

      We reserve the right to repair furniture in customers home or accept return for repair and/or replacement.  Regretfully, we can a only authorize full refund in the rare event when we are unable to repair or replace (or find a replacement part for) the item.

      Orders may be cancelled as long as they are not special orders, have not been processed and /or have not been shipped.   You must call an agent of Grigsby Furniture Direct to cancel the order before it has  been shipped or submit a message in "Contact Us" form 24 hours prior to delivery. 

      Shipping times listed on the Grigsby Furniture Direct site are approximate and we always strive to adhere to them as closely as possible.  However, due to the fact that that delivery times may be effected by our manufacturers and/or shipping solutions provides, we cannot be held responsible in the event that your items arrive earlier or later than estimated.

      You will be contacted for shipping time frame by the Shipping Company ahead of time so that you can plan your schedule accordingly.  Shippers are expected to notify you of a delivery day and time frame, so you can have the appropriate help available to get your order into your home.  Please note that shipping times are estimated and cannot be guaranteed.  If you are not at home when the delivery was scheduled and the freight company has to return with your order, a second delivery fee may apply based on the carrier.  If you tell the carrier to leave the parcel without being there to accept it we are not responsible for any damage to the furniture. 

      Most orders will be shipped via common carrier and delivered by a trucking company contracted by Grigsby Furniture Direct.  Common carrier deliveries are only performed Monday through Saturday.  The shipping company who is obligated to fulfill delivery of your order will contact you by phone prior to delivery to establish an approximate time for you to receive your delivery.  Although we use the largest and most well-known carriers, we are not responsible for delays in transit, freight company employee conduct, missed delivery appointment or damages to the customer’s premises.  We will not accept cancellations due to delays in delivery by transportation companies.

    At this time, Grigsby Furniture Direct ships merchandise to locations within the United States. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.


    Sales Tax

    • Payment options include (USA issued only) Visa, Cash, and Post office Cashiers check. 

      Credit card processing: All credit card payments are processed through New Edition Furniture and will be displayed on your credit card statement as such.  In the event a credit card does not process for any reason, we will at our discretion, either void the order and notify the customer or process the order at a later date or process the payment in multiple smaller amounts until the item is paid in full.  Items cannot be shipped until payment in full has been collected.

    COD: Cash on Delivery is a service we offer to residents in the Southern California region. A credit card must be put on file and cash payment can be received upon delivery of items. The credit card will be only charge in case restocking fees must apply.

    Grigsby Furniture Direct does not save or store any credit card numbers of its customers.  Once a customer completes online order, his/her credit card issuer authorizes Grigsby Furniture Direct to charge an appropriate amount of money to the customer’s credit card.  Grigsby Furniture Direct will charge customers’ credit card whenever the merchandise is ordered. 

    Sales tax is charged to California residents only.

    Acceptance of Terms & Conditions; 1) Online Orders: By processing any order through Grigsby Furniture Direct online website, customer acknowledges acceptance of the terms and conditions herein. A copy of the order transaction including all terms and conditions will be automatically sent via return email to the purchaser of any order at the customers email address given at the time of order. It is the customer's responsibility to fully read and understand these terms and conditions. Should customer have any challenges with the terms and conditions, customer may cancel an order with email/written notice within 24 hours of placement, otherwise sale is considered final and subject to the all applicable terms and condition of this agreement.

    2) Cancellation Policy - Most of our products are in stock at vendor warehouses for fast shipment. You may cancel your order and receive no penalties before your order ships to our warehouse.

    If your order has already arrived at our Grigsby Furniture Direct warehouse, a 35% restocking fee will apply to your order if you wish to cancel.

    If your order has already shipped from Grigsby Furniture Direct, any cancellations or shipment refusals will be considered "Returns". As with a return, the customer will be responsible for actual freight BOTH ways in addition to the 35% restocking fee. Bear in mind, actual freight returned may be higher than freight we originally charged based on additional fuel surcharges and labor, residential pick-up circumstances, etc.

    Note: All mattress or custom furniture orders can NOT be cancelled.

     
    Non-returnable and Custom Made Product
    Grigsby Furniture Direct sells products from some manufacturers that are custom made or built- to-order. These items are non-returnable and non-cancellable once the order has been placed. Please check with one of our customer service representatives the particular manufacturer's return policy. If you are dissatisfied with a custom made product, please contact us within 30 days of its receipt and we will attempt to obtain a return authorization from the manufacturer.  However, we cannot guarantee that such authorization will be granted or what refund, if any, you may be entitled to.   Please note, there is absolutely no way for us to obtain authorization from our manufacturers, if we are contacted more than 30 days from the receipt of merchandise. 



    3) Return authorization – We base our customer purchases on the policy that "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" unless of course the rare case occurs in which your furniture is either damaged or defective. Having said that; If you wish to return or refuse your order, you are welcome to do so. However, you will be responsible for actual freight BOTH ways in addition to the 35% restocking fee. You can return the item using the shipping carrier of your choice. Once we receive the return, we will refund your account the product price minus the 35% restocking fee. Original freight will not be refunded. We pride ourselves on our customer satisfaction and it is an extremely rare occurrence that our customers wish to return furniture simply for the sake that it is not what they wanted. We encourage our customers to be informed of furniture specifications and common material (types of woods, fabrics, etc.) used, but the quality of the furniture you purchase from Grigsby Furniture Direct for the price you pay is second to none.

    *No items may be returned for any reason without prior approval. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all furniture upon arrival to ensure there is no damage (hidden or otherwise).

    Should you find damage to your furniture, it is the customer’s responsibility to refuse delivery from the carrier be it freight company, or Grigsby Furniture Direct delivery trucks (Southern CA only). By refusing furniture due to damage, a claim will be made (in freight cases) and replacement furniture will be shipped once the claim has been settled with the appropriate freight company.

    In cases where our own truck is the delivery agent no claim is necessary. We will take back the damaged piece(s) and re-deliver at no charge to the customer within 7-10 days (providing furniture is in stock).

    4) General Policy - All of our products are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects. If for some reason a challenge has occurred with an order, please contact us immediately to figure out a reasonable solution. It is recommended that all items should be checked immediately upon receipt. All items must be opened and inspected for damage within24hrs of delivery, and written notification of any challenges must be submitted within the same time frame or all sales will be considered final.

    Seller reserves the right to send replacement parts when applicable. Grigsby Furniture Direct refund policy does not cover items damaged due to misuse, neglect, weather conditions or other. It is the customer's responsibility to properly care for, maintain, store and safely use the products ordered.     When returning an item for any reason, item MUST be packaged in the original carton. Items that have been scratched or dented by, set up, movement of furniture, careless opening of cartons, over tightening of bolts etc., are considered used and or no longer labeled as new condition.

    Used items will not be accepted for return unless there has been a clear manufacture defect or warranty issue. Actual fabrics and components may vary slightly from color charts and or pictures as displayed due to particular lighting effects, computer monitor displays, graphics and availability of particular seasonal items.

    Therefore, Grigsby Furniture Direct cannot be held accountable for any persons who improperly decide a specific color choice, unit style, or size dependent on the visual picture only. It is the customer’s responsibility to read all descriptions in the item shopping cart before ordering.

    If Grigsby Furniture Direct so chooses to accept a return on an item, it is at Grigsby Furniture Direct sole discretion whether or not a restocking fee and or shipping charges will apply. All returns for improper color choices etc. may be subject to a 35% restocking fee plus applicable shipping and handling charges.

    Refunds will be given for the purchase price less the original shipping and handling charge as agreed upon.

    Grigsby Furniture Direct reserves the right to repair or replace such merchandise at Grigsby Furniture Direct discretion. Refunds are issued within 7-10 days of our inspection of returned items. Should any item be refused delivery and returned without authorization, a 35% restocking fee plus all shipping and handling fees will be charged at minimum. However, it is at Grigsby Furniture Directs sole discretion whether a refund of any type will be issued. There will be absolutely no refunds or returns credited for custom ordered items. For this reason, it is best to communicate via email to receive written authorization before you return your item.
